Can’t stop. Won’t stop. We are still eating grilled flatbread pizza every week. This one was deemed the best yet by my husband. It was pretty tasty. I love buffalo sauce. Here is what I did to make this pizza.
We have a tomato/buffalo sauce, shredded, cooked chicken, cheese and all topped with fresh cold veggies – cabbage, carrots, green and red onion and tomatoes. And a little hot sauce too. Never too spicy! (OK, well maybe. There was that one time at Wings and Rings. Ugh…still traumatized. Long story but never try the hot wing challenge. Ever. You will regret it. And likely puke alone in the parking lot.)
Don’t care for veggies? Just keep it plain.
Buffalo sauce for buffalo chicken pizza
- 1 – 8oz. can tomato sauce
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 2/3 cup buffalo sauce (scale back if you don’t like it too spicy)
Mix all ingredients together on the stovetop over medium heat. Slather on your pizza or flatbread and top with whatever toppings you like.
Again, I grill my flatbread first all alone to crisp it up. The one on the left got a LITTLE well done. Hi Winston laying on the floor! Then, bring it inside, top with sauce, cooked chicken and cheese. It goes back on the grill on the top rack until the cheese is melted.
Bring it in and top with whatever toppings you like, add a little more hot sauce and devour!
I would eat almost anything with buffalo sauce on it. Seriously in love with that stuff.
Enjoy another easy way to eat a lighter pizza without heating up your house!
